About Our Health Center:
Vital Chiropractic Center has been providing quality health care in Mount Vernon, WA since 2000. We have attracted patients from as far away as Illinois and Texas since opening our doors to the public. Both Dr. Cheryl Schmitt and Dr. Robert Schmitt specialize in the specific, effective, Gonstead technique. At Vital Chiropractic Center we focus on family care and optimal wellness care.  We believe in preventing problems from occurring and and not covering up, sometimes serious, symptoms. Our goal is to aid our patients in reaching their fullest potential through natural means.

Dr. Robert and Dr. Cheryl are a husband/wife chiropractic team. They are members of the ICA (International Chiropractic Association) and WSCA (Washington State Chiropractic Association). Both doctors are also involved in many local organizations such as Soroptimist International, Toastmasters International, Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce, Mount Vernon Women in Business and Skagit Women in Business. They have both trained chiropractic students on the Gonstead technique and have completed hundreds of extra hours of training in this technique and in the specific care children.
